This painting is about my Mom, the poet. She has stacked of paper throughout the house, which to some looks like chaos, but the poet writes when they’re inspired and that can be at any moment. She can be inspired by something as simple as doing the dishes, or something as big as a huge adventure planned, or mourning the loss of her partner. Those stacks of papers are prayers. They are hope on paper. The are love on paper.
